Hello fellows! So, I have some question about formulas on page 156 of MYFAROG 2.7 which I fond a bit strange. There are two formulas to find DV of Predatory and Non-predatory animals though. Predatory creature = DV = 10 + (Size > +0 / 2) (minimum +10, maximum +14) Non-predatory creature = DV = 10 + (Size > +0 / 4) (minimum +10, maximum +12) Well, I got that results can't be less or more than (minimum +10, maximum +14), (minimum +10, maximum +12). But if +0 is divided by any number it's 0, anyway. So, what the difference?? Also, why is zero with +? Zero isn't positive or negative it's nothing. How do you use these formulas Thulêans? Maybe I understand something wrongly, isn't it? Hamingja!

Moreover, what means does mean this formula? (page 156 of MYFAROG 2.7 too)
Dodging: Size < +0 (minimum +2, maximum +10)
I haven't got the foggiest.

Just ignore the +
Like the - indicates a negative value, it is indicating any positive value over 0

Yeah, I know about these symbols > < ≥ ≤ , but my question is not about it. My question is why there are zero is divided by 2 and 4? Answers are zeros for both formulas, so why does it need? For example a size for a predatory animal is 1 and second size for non predatory animal is 3. Let's to calculate it with those formulas. Predatory creature = DV = 10 + ( 1 > +0 / 2) 1. 0 / 2 = 0 2. 1 > 0 3. 10 + 1 = 11 Non-predatory animal = DV = 10 + (3 > +0 / 4) 1. 0 / 4 = 0 2. 3 > 0 3. 10 + 3 = 13 (it's more than maximum +12 in this case) So, why do we need to divide 0 by 2 and 4 here? It's always 0! Do you see what I mean? I'm really confused with these formulas.
