A weird title for sure, but I'm curious if anyone can help shed some light on this. There were a few channels on YouTube that I loved watching over the years like sr2Joker and GodEmperorLetoII (Jeff Cape's channel) that showcased sessions of MYFAROG and other systems. In fact just half a year ago, I stumbled upon this fantastic campaign that really immersed me as a viewer that was Myth Mastered by Jeff Cape using MYFAROG and The Coming supplement. The name of this campaign escapes me, but it was amazing and set in this post apocalyptic setting where things were scare and even a box of Cheerios is like a relic that you could get quite a bit for in terms of ammo, weapons and other things not food related. I remember this campaign started with the simple task of finding food for this elderly woman that was acting almost like a mother to these three younger guys. Not related but still acting as a makeshift family unit each one with their own unique personality. I remember Jeff Cape as the Myth Master roleplayed the part of the elderly woman who was had this old Russian accent and a no BS attitude to match it!
Sooner then later this simple task becomes grand in scale as you learn about how despite the chaos, there is still a larger government body not known to you prior, that makes it a point to utilize various surveillance cameras that people assumed were not active! Crazy stuff!
Unfortunately, I tried to find this session around a week ago to no avail. It seems like the small channel that hosted this video is missing. I also noticed that sr2Joker took down all of his wonderful videos and one left the most recent one titled, "So Long and Thanks for all the Fish!" with a message that he's moving past YouTube as a platform, doing other things and/or lost interest in uploading content to his channel.
Besides these two channels, I've noticed other smaller channels that host gameplay sessions have missing videos as well.
Does anyone know why this trend exists and why the hosts of these videos go to the extreme of removing this content through YouTube's search engine by either making them private or unlisted and/or deleting them? I'm just curious and I wish that I could still watch that epic Jeff Cape run game! Any insight into this would be appreciated!
