I was thinking that the stories in Thule start in in 40,000 BC

Don't think it's necessary to bring desert religion calendar in ... but if you have to ... you have to. There is nothing wrong in it, but I don't really see how it would add something into the game.

Sorry. I just don't know what year it would take place in? Would it be better to use Before Common Era? What would be the proper dating scheme to use?

Sorry. I just don't know what year it would take place in? Would it be better to use Before Common Era? What would be the proper dating scheme to use? Just forget our messed up calendars in MYFAROG. In Þulê there is no such thing. Here is calendar in .PDF for your disposal myfarogdotorg.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/the-myfarog-calendar.pdf

Using everything available minus the extras in, I believe, Deus Ex Machinima you are about the Iron Age. Though it is possible to play in prehistory taking out a few things. I’d say for me I set the games in the Iron Age with all equipment available to players.

So wait is Þulê not in Prehistoric Earth? Is it actually just another world? If so I apologize for the question. I simply was of the idea that Þulê takes place in a mythic prehistoric past.

Place it where ever you want. It’s your world.

Honestly, I'm a newbie to the game but I kind of like the idea of Thule being a vague and intentionally anachronistic mythic past, freely blending elements of the Paleolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age, and Iron Age
I've only got the Version 2.7 but I've heard the newest version does move things a bit closer to Late Antiquity/Dark Ages/Early Viking Age but I could be wrong
I'm even thinking of two "head canons" where Thule eventually became the Europe of our world with two potential future settings, one is represented in the post-apocalyptic horror setting of The Coming and the other is a slightly more "mythic" setting that includes the Mythic Europe found in the early editions of Ars Magica and the modern world as it was portrayed in the very first edition of Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf: The Apocalypse (but not the later more metaplot-ridden editions, obviously)

Thulê has appeared 978 325 742 234 765 345 987 999 456 123 845 yeas ago and it exists until right now. Thulêans live in pre-Historic time presently. No written History.
