Hello, I'm a new gamer as far as RPGs go, and MYFAROG is my first game. Learned about it from the ThuleanPerspective channel on youtube, and as soon as the author said it was based on European mythologies and cultures, I was hooked, its nice when fantasy has a real world source that people can draw knowledge from and I'm constantly seeking to learn more about my own culture (Iberian) and other European cultures as well. The world of RPGs is still strange to me, have been told stories of people doing rather destructive things to other players, which is bizarre considering that the purpose of playing a game with others is to co-operate as best as possible and have fun learning so you can achieve both your individual and group goals. If you have no intention of co-operating and getting along, why play in the first place, right? I would like for the MYFAROG "tribe" to work as it should and initiate players into a world that has a lot of potential but is constantly demonized by people who have never even tried it. MYFAROG is really unique and its easy to appreciate how much space there is for growth. Look forward to contributing what I can and earning for this game the honorable reputation it most certainly deserves.
Am always willing to talk about MYFAROG and help out as best I can, you are welcome to reach out if you need anything. Thanks to The Gardener for creating this forum.

Welcome to the forum. I have been in such groups myself, mainly from conflicting values (mine being similar to the people in the setting and theirs being more modern) but you do get players who have strange motivations for playing. Munchkins are the worst though, they tend to be terrible people as well as dull PCs. I hope you find a good group.

Have been running a few new player games of MYFAROG and am slowly building a good group of players. I usually run these games on the weekend so if any of you would like to play, you are most welcome to join.
